Karriya Job Academy Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to the Karriya Job Academy (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Academy’s website, courses, services, and any AI-assisted tools offered on the platform. By accessing or using Karriya, you agree to these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Academy. We may update or modify these Terms at any time, and changes will be effective when posted. Continued use indicates acceptance of those changes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction to enroll in the Academy. Users under this age may only use our services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Karriya reserves the right to refuse service, suspend accounts, or cancel registrations if we believe you have violated these Terms.

4. Registration and Account

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account with accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify Karriya immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Karriya is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard account information.

5. Course Plans and Payments

Karriya offers two course plans (Free and Paid), which may differ in sessions, level of support, and included resources.

All prices are listed in SEK (Swedish Kronor) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change course fees at any time.

You must provide valid payment information (e.g., credit card, PayPal) for paid plans. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the current price unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling a subscription will stop future auto-renewals. No refunds are provided for recurring payments already processed. Refunds for other cases (e.g., accidental double payment) may be handled according to our separate Refund Policy.

6. Course Access and License

Upon successful enrollment, Karriya grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the selected course materials for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit course materials without prior written permission. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

7. Course Content and User Conduct

Karriya strives to provide accurate, up-to-date educational content.

You agree to use the Academy lawfully, ethically, and respectfully. Prohibited behavior includes harassment, hate speech, or unauthorized distribution of course materials.

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided through Karriya, including text, videos, graphics, logos, and software, is owned or licensed by Karriya and protected by intellectual property laws. “Karriya” and related marks are trademarks of Karriya or its licensors. You may not use these trademarks without express written permission.

9. B2B (Recruitment Agency) Accounts

Recruitment agencies using the Academy must comply with the terms of their B2B agreements with Karriya. Agency-based enrollments may require per-user fees as specified in the agreement. Agencies must ensure that enrolled candidates comply with these Terms.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal information according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR). You are responsible for maintaining up-to-date account information and protecting your login credentials.

11. AI Tool Usage

AI-assisted responses are generated to guide learning and provide educational support. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Users should independently verify critical information.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Academy’s courses and resources are provided “as is” and “as available” for educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific job placements, salary increases, or career outcomes.

Karriya is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Academy, except where required by law. Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the services.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or engage in conduct harmful to the Academy or other users.

You may discontinue using the Academy at any time by cancelling your account. Refunds for unused portions of paid plans are subject to our Refund Policy.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If negotiations fail, disputes may be resolved in courts of Sweden, unless otherwise agreed.

15. General Provisions

These Terms, together with any other agreements (such as a B2B contract), constitute the entire agreement between you and Karriya regarding the Academy.

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
